Sir Roger signed items for auction to benefit UNICEF

Sir Roger Moore graciously signed an original portrait of himself by artist Cathia Hamel at the UNICEF headquarters in New York City on September 26th 2006. Sir Roger also signed all of the 13 lithographs which were printed from the original.

In September 2007 the portrait was unveiled at the Resto-Club Largo in Québec City, Canada. Present during the ceremony were Evelyne Guindon (General Director UNICEF Quebec), Sophie Maciagowsky (Administrator Festival of Cinéma des 3 Amériques), Hilary Saltzman (Administrator Festival of Cinéma des 3 Amériques and daughter of famous film producer Harry Saltzman which Sir Roger worked for when filming his first two Bond films LIVE AND LET DIE in 1973 and THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN 1974). The ceremony was also attended by Cathia Hamel (portrait artist and sculptor), Gino Sainte-Marie (the Largo Foundation for the Arts), Yves Lacasse (President of Festival of Cinéma des 3 Amériques) and Muriel Jaouich (communications & marketing, UNICEF Québec).

The original portrait and eight numbered lithographs, all framed and signed by Sir Roger Moore and artist Cathia Hamel, are up for sale to benefit UNICEF.
