This is Sir Roger presenting his Pal Tony Curtis with the Empire film award.
For all The Persuaders fans it was fantastic because it was the first time Tony and Roger had publicly been seen together again since the series 35 years earlier

It is not the best quality because I shot it on my camera from a distance but I think you will get the idea and will be able to hear both Roger and Tony's speeches. In the middle of the film there is a little section where some of Tony's classic speeches are being shown and it's a little to dark to see them but hang on in there for the last bit, Tony's emotional speech. It was a fantastic night for me as I love the series; it's my favourite from being 13 in 1971 when it was first shown. If you would like to go to Tony's official forum I run its at www.thepersuaders.com Or Sir Roger Moore's official website at www.rogermoore.com and forum where Sir Roger answers six fans questions each month. This was an informal interview with Tony Curtis about The Persuaders from October 2005, iIt was the pinnacle of achievement for me. The series starred both Tony Curtis and Roger Moore. I've also have had the enormous pleasure, and privilege of becoming Sir Roger Moor's official webmaster, which reflects not only his career in acting, but also his work for Unicef in the capacity of a Special Aambassador.
