Dear Sir Roger, first of all, thanks for your kindness and patience, due to our big curiosity.  I want to ask you about “The Beatles”. I suppose that you met  many times with the members of the legendary band. Sir Roger, did you friend of them? I remember that you played with Barbara Bach (wife of Ringo) in “The Spy who loved me”, and Paul McCartney performed the song of “Live and Let Die”. By the way,  the soundtracks of your tv series and films are famous, specific “The Saint” , “The Persuaders” and the theme of James Bond, what is your favorite melody?. Thanks a lot. Hasta pronto.

Hi Dixon

I didn't really get to know the Beatles, though of course I did later work with Paul McCartney on the same film and Mrs Ringo Starr (to be) as you mention. As to my favourite melody - if you mean from my films and tv - I guess I'd have to say Nobody Does It Better. It''s a terrific melody and of course quite true - nobody does it better than me! I'm far too modest for my own good.

Dear Sir Roger,

I enjoy your work as Simon Templar and James Bond, but my question is in regards to your film The Enemy.  I was wondering what your experience was like working with Luke Perry?  Is he someone you keep in touch with?  In some ways, he reminds me somewhat of you in that he is a kind, funny, and genuine person.  I'd be interested in any thoughts you have.

My best regards, CHRIS

Hi Chris

Luke was very nice and very professional. Most of my scenes were with Tom Conti so I didn't get to know Luke as well as I did Tom, but it was a happy experience and a happy shoot. I haven't been in touch with him since, but who knows, our paths may cross in the future.

Dear Roger

I was watching your excellent speech at Elstree Studios on You Tube and was very interested in your description of some of the houses you lived in at the beginning of your career.  Which has been your favorite house that you've lived in and why?  PS I used to enjoy watching Paul Daniels Magic shows and you said you bought his house, which house was that one, and did you meet him?

PS Congratulations on being a UNICEF Ambassador, I never realised how much you've help them.

Kindest regards
Jane

Hi Jane

Actually it was Paul Daniels who bought my house in Denham. I didn't meet him, as I'd long gone by the time he bought it. In fact that house was probably my favourite of my UK homes. It was a lovely old place with a big garden and an ideal place to bring up a family. It was also a very short drive from Pinewood which made life very easy! Denham is a very friendly village, and I was last there a couple of years back for Sir John Mills' funeral. It hasn't changed a bit.

Hello Sir Roger

I very much enjoyed your performance in The Quest. I was wondering how did you find the experience of working on the film and did Jean-Claude Van Dame impress as director?

Regards

Dom

Hello Dom

I could lie and say I really enjoyed it, but I won't. It wasn't my favourite film to work on and I did not find Mr Van Damme terribly impressive as a director. That is just my view of course. I think the finished thing looked pretty reasonable and he hasn't stopped working since. Good luck to him!

Dear Sir Roger,

I had the pleasure of meeting you at the Vue sur Bond event in Canada in February 2006. I found that you looked much younger than your actual age? I have just turned 50 and I am wondering if you have any special advice to give me if I want to stay young looking and fit like you.

Regards,

Claude

Hi Claude

Well you do flatter me. Thank you. Having a wonderfully supportive and beautiful partner is a big part of it. Kristina keeps me going.

It's also about being sensible and enjoying everything in moderation.

So, enjoy life and take care of your body with regular (moderate) exercise and don't eat too much chocolate.

Hello Sir Roger

There is an article in Entertainment Weekly from November 2006 that has things we didn't know about James Bond.

One of them is "To stay in touch, Roger Moore and George Lazenby e-mail jokes to each other"

Is this true and do you keep in touch with any of the other five actors who have portrayed James Bond?

Keep up with the excellent UNICEF work.

Thank you

Hello there ... whoever you are!

Yes I think I mentioned it on the DVD commentaries. George and I see each other occassionally at functions, and in between times we exchange the odd email joke. I also see Sean from time to time too, we remain good friends.

As to the others, I can't say I really know them. I've met Timothy and Pierce a couple of times, but that's about all.
