Hi Roger
I wanted to ask you.
What advice would you give to the younger generation? Any advice
that you have learn over the years that you wish younger kids/people
would live by. What do you see missing from us? From LocoArts"
Roger. Live life to the full,
and treat those around you - family, friends, neighbours - with
respect and love. Sadly their is too much disrespect for life
in the world. It is the most valuable thing we posses yet we abuse
it.

Dear Sir Roger
Ever since I can remember I have been a fan of yours. My earliest
and fondest TV memories are of the Saint and the Persuaders, and
I have always been hooked on Bond. I have recently been watching
the Persuaders again - reliving my youth - and it struck me how
it is your sense of fun/humour and your politeness....I suppose
'class' that have been the reason behing why watching you through
the years has been so uplifting. Do you find the balance between
'not taking life too seriously' and carrying out your incredibly
serious and worthwhile work for UNICEF a difficult one? From Hugh

Roger. I like to have fun
when I work on a movie set, as otherwise I get uptight and anxious.
The same applies in life to a certain extent, so I try not to
take things too seriously - though there are some things I do
take very seriously: my family and my work for UNICEF being at
the top of the list. Having witnessed horrific sights and circumstances
on field trips, one can not be nor should be light hearted about
it. In all honesty you couldn't even try to be when you see limbless
children, smell the stench of burning flesh and witness famine
and drout. It is a stark awakening to the "real" world.

You met Grace Kelly was she as beautiful as she
seemed. Also do you have any photographs and memorobilia from
Grace. My daughter in law has been a fan of Princess Grace since
the age of five and would love to here about her and if possible
view any photographs you have of her. Many thanks Roger. From Christine
Roger.
Princess Grace was even more beautiful than you can imagine -
not just in looks, but in personality, charm and warmth. She was
a
wonderful
lady. Alas, I do not have any photographs or momentoes. One doesn't
tend to think of taking photographs at social gatherings and dinner
parties. It's only afterwards that you think "d**n it, I'd
have loved to have taken a photo". But at least I have some
wonderful happy memories of meeting her. It was a great tragedy
when she died. She will be remembered at her most beautiful.

Dear Sir Roger,
My name is Rens and I'm from the Netherlands.
I'm 17 years old and there is one thing i'd really like to know;
When looking back at your life and career as an actor, if you
were of my age and you had the chance to choose again, would you
have chosen the same life/career?

In all honesty, I wouldn't change
anything. I've had a wonderful time, career and life. Yes there
have been difficult times and heartaches, but without those I
probably wouldn't be the person I am today.

Roger, I have truly enjoyed your work over these
many years, starting with "The Saint". Your "Bond"
will always be my favorite one. Growing up without a father figure
in the home, I chose to model some of the gentlemanly and debonair
persona you portrayed, as I grew to become the man I am today.
My question is this. Looking far ahead, someday, when you have
passed on from this place, what will you wish to be best remembered
for? From MooreFan1964
I'd like to be remembered
for being the oldest living human!

My question? One of my favourite of your performances is in "Bed
and Breakfast". I was wondering if there which of your films/performances
do you feel hasn't had the credit you think it deserves? From
zooty = Brett .
I enjoyed that film.
Well, I've never really sought critical acclaim - had I done,
then I'd be a trembling wreck in a retirement home by now. Though
I was a little disappointed with some releases such as Bed And
Breakfast, The Naked Face, Gold and The Man Who Haunted Himself
as the
distributors
didn't really "sell" the films, they just released them
and hoped for the best. In the latter's case the company, EMI,
boasted that they were producing a series of "cheap"
films, saying "aren't we clever to do this?". But the
public thought otherwise - they felt they were being shortchanged
so didn't bother going to the cinema.
Promotion and advertising is a very important aspect of the business
and no matter how good a film is, if you don't let people know
about it, then they simply won't go to see it.
Thank you to Sir Roger Moore
