You
can't get a more exclusive gig than this - Roger Moore on
a private jet.
When Roger tickles the ivories,
the audience cries out for Moore!
The 007 movie star was on the payroll of
fashion house Fabergé at the time this photograph was
snapped in the mid-Seventies.
He was taken on a promotional tour to endorse
the aftershave no self-respecting Seventies man could do without
- Brut.
Roger, who was playing James Bond at the
time, was accompanied on the jaunt by George Barrie (1), Fabergé
President. The two pals flew between venues in George's private
jet, which was kitted out with its own keyboard, bar and bedroom.
Say, Roger, your keyboard skills are absolutely
Fabergé!

Photographer Terry O'Neill was invited
along. He recalls: "We flew all around Europe.
This picture was taken on the way to Denmark.
George and Roger were both big jazz
fans. Roger plays the piano and George is on melodica
here, so as they flew between venues they'd have these
jam sessions. Roger was having a whale of a time."

of celebrity endorsers, G. Barrie brought Cary Grant
onto Fabergé's board of directors
