This little Whitby yard it is only accessed for the six old cottages and is a lovely haven away from the madding crowd even on the busiest of Whitby's days! Each cottage faces its own little out house which was originally built with the cottages as work places where Whitby jet was worked, truly giving character to this courtyard.
The cottage has been completely renovated in spring 2008 providing all modern day comforts, while still retaining its old worldly charm, like the original wide floorboards in the bedrooms etc.
If you're looking for a extremely quiet location to relax in after a busy day enjoying Whitby's many attractions, this will not disappoint.
